For most of us, bereavement will be the most distressing experience we will ever have to endure. Grief is the feeling that we have when someone we love dies. The death of a loved one is a devastating loss. Everyone has different experience of grief; there is no ‘normal’ or ‘right’ way to grieve. How we react will be influenced by many different things, including our age and personality, or cultural background and religious beliefs, our previous experiences of bereavement, our circumstances and how we cope with loss.
My Manchester Bereavement Counselling sessions are individual to most, my techniques, guidance and knowledge of situations surrounding Bereavement make my sessions a positive, unique experience for all my clients.

Counselling is not the same as talking to friends or family, it’s a unique therapeutic relationship that helps grieving people come to terms with their loss. I favour a Person Centred approach for bereavement issues. This type of counsellling is very flexible and allows you to get through your sadness in a time frame that is unique to you.
There is no right or wrong grieving process because it is exactly that, a process. It is individual to you and there are no rules as to how long it will take for you.
My Manchester Bereavement Counselling sessions are confidential, empathic and always respectful of you and your feelings. So if you live in the Manchester or Stockport area and would need Bereavement Counselling, give me a call. Don’t forget, the first session is free.
