CBT and General Counselling

Some people find it hard to admit that they are struggling, and put off making that phone call to a counsellor who can help. Don’t be afraid, counselling’s really not as bad as you think!

About me:

I am an integrative counsellor based in Hazel Grove, Stockport. I provide therapy for a wide range of disorders including depression, anxiety, low self esteem and bereavement. I’m fully qualified (University of Manchester) and a member of the BACP, which is the professional body of counsellors and psychotherapists. I can be found listed with them and I am bound to abide by their code of practice and ethics.

About my service:

Normal sessions with me are 60 minutes long. We’ll have one or two assessment sessions, where I take lots of information to really try to understand the extent of your difficulties, then we’ll crack on with the therapy.  How long it’ll take in terms of sessions is dependent on lots of factors, and after assessment we should have an idea of how long your therapy should take.

Confidentiality

I provide a confidential service in line with BACP guidelines.

Payment

I take cash or cheque.
