Bereavement Counselling

My counselling is confidential, empathic and always respectful of you and your feelings. So if you live in the Stockport or Manchester area and seek Bereavement Counselling, just give me a call.

Grief is the feeling that we have when someone we love dies. Grief is a normal part of life, and death and loss take time to recover from. Sometimes, though, grief gets complicated, or ‘stuck’. That’s when counselling may be needed.

Bereavement is the usually the most distressing experience we will ever have to endure.  Everyone has different experience of grief; there is no ‘normal’ or ‘right’ way to grieve. How we react will be influenced by many different things, including our age and personality, or cultural background and religious beliefs, our previous experiences of bereavement, our circumstances and how we cope with loss.

You can and will feel better with my counselling, so call me to discuss your needs if you live in the Stockport or Manchester area. It doesn’t matter if it’s a pet or a family member that you’ve lost, counselling will help. Counselling is not the same as talking to friends or family, it’s a unique therapeutic relationship that helps grieving people come to terms with their loss.

There is no right or wrong grieving process because it is exactly that, a process. It is individual to you and there are no rules as to how long it will take for you.

My counselling is confidential, empathic and always respectful of you and your feelings. So if you live in the Stockport or Manchester area and would like Bereavement Counselling, give me a call.
